They had the finale figured to the final hour

On the next morning - were they relieved?
Or were they furious - at having been deceived?
Had they sold of their earthly possessions?
Will they sign up for survivor counseling sessions?

Did they just begin to re-calculate the time?
Did they claim their deity was not exact?
Did they deny what had been rock-solid fact?
